Stack$ Set To Release "I Buried My Ego" Mixtape
After a 3-year hiatus from the rap game, rapper Stack$ is scheduled to release his new mixtape entitled "I Buried My Ego" this spring. With features from fellow labelmates and artists Phyllisia, Urban Mystic, Busta Rhymes and singer Ginelle, the rapper is more than ready to deliver a message after his sabbatical.
"I still haven't attacked the game like I've wanted to,"says Stack$.
"This mixtape is for the fans and to showcase my talents and abilities as a rapper but most notably, a songwriter. I've been working on focusing on the business aspect of the music industry for some time. Now, I can finally get creative...haha."In explaining the title of the tape, Stack$ says,
"I just believe I was at a different point in my life back when I first started. The image I portrayed wasn't who I really was and I was letting other people influence my decisions. Unfortunately, sometimes we lose our direction in life and we are led astray. I want to let the world know with this tape that I've buried my ego and am focused solely on producing QUALITY material."
Here's one of the tracks off the mixtape, Produced by David Bowes:
"If This World Were Mine" feat. Hollywood Jit

as if!
Oh yeah, we all write. That’s what’s great about when you have basics in piano.
Honestly, your last album definitely seemed like your ego took over and made you flop. You had no sense of personal style and your talent seemed to be kept away. I think you should not portray an image your not and express your hip hop abilities for you. Dont be hood if your not hood. Be you! You make the rap game, the game doesnt make you.. Good Luck Homie! Looking forward to this mixtape.
I bow down hublmy in the presence of such greatness.
thanks buddy, great!
